Yes, you can transfer it by simply adding -001 or -002 to the end of the serial number. Please note that you can only use your license on two computers.
Yes, but you may only use it on a maximum of two computers. Just simply use the -001 and -002 extensions at the end of your serial number to differentiate between activations.

You can cancel the renewal of your subscription at any time. You will continue to have access to all the features and services for the rest of your billing cycle.
No, the full annual price must be paid upfront.
Yes, you can change your subscription plan in your ‘my memoQ’ account. You can switch to an annual subscription at any time. If you switch plans while your monthly subscription is still active, your monthly plan will stay active until the end of your current billing cycle, and then it automatically changes to the annual plan.

A subscription renews automatically while the SMA coverage payments must be continuous and fully paid to access Support and the most up-to-date features.
The SMA coverage period starts from the previous expiration date. Any lapses in your SMA coverage, if accumulated, must be settled to reactivate valid SMA coverage. A subscription period starts from the day of the purchase.
We run regular campaigns to support linguists and freelancers. If you sign up for our regular email updates, you will receive notifications about any discount campaigns when they occur. Also, make sure to follow memoQ on Facebook and LinkedIn to be notified about updates!
If you receive a discounted offer, please follow the instructions in the email. The offer is found in your ‘my memoQ’ account.
Your projects, files, and resources will still be accessible in memoQ translator pro even after your subscription ends.
If you purchased a perpetual license, it is yours forever. Included in your perpetual license, you receive assistance from our Support Team and a single year-long access to new memoQ version releases. After one year, you need to renew your SMA to continue accessing new features and support. Once your coverage has expired, you are still eligible to use the latest version that you upgraded to.
If you choose an annual subscription, there are no additional costs for support and maintenance. Pay your yearly fee and access all the memoQ translator pro features as well as the latest updates and continuous 24/7 support.
A year after your initial memoQ translator pro license purchase, to continue accessing Support and the latest features, you need to pay the SMA fee. The SMA (Support and Maintenance Agreement) fee is an annual fee that should not be skipped. While the SMA fee payment is not obligatory (as your license is perpetual), it is highly recommended that you keep up with the SMA fee payments.
We advise you to annually renew your SMA as you near the expiration date. Each year is payable in arrears. For example, if you have not renewed your SMA in three years, you will need to pay all three years to access the most recent version of memoQ. The SMA renewal date is always counted from the date of the initial memoQ license purchase. This date cannot be changed when renewing your SMA.
The SMA fee is what allows you to access the most up-to-date versions of memoQ, in the years after your initial purchase. The SMA fee also covers your access to Support. Without a valid SMA fee, Support is not available.
One year of SMA costs 144 EUR/164 USD (+VAT if applicable). Please note that the SMA yearly fee is effective from the date of your first purchase.
Yes, your memoQ translator pro license is perpetual. However, if you do not renew the SMA, you will neither be able to access newer versions of memoQ, nor can you request support.
It is possible to renew the SMA on any day, however, please keep in mind that SMA is a continuous agreement, and the renewal starts on the day your previous contract expired, not on the day of your purchase.

Please calculate the number of years lapsed since your first purchase and multiply it by 144 EUR / 164 USD. To ensure a correct calculation, use the first purchase date as it indicates the SMA renewal date.
No. Starting a new subscription and renewing the SMA are two completely different options.
Please note: We advise you to renew your SMA each year as you approach the expiration date. Each year is payable. For example, if you have not renewed your SMA in three years, you will need to pay all three years to access the most up-to-date version of memoQ.
If you require an invoice, please send an email to our Finance Team at invoice@memoq.com. In the ticket, please state the nature of your request (invoice) along with all the necessary information, and our team will assist you in creating the invoice.
