Drupal is a powerful open-source content management system (CMS) for building and managing complex websites. Known for its flexibility and security, it’s used by organizations of all sizes to create dynamic, content-rich websites. It supports extensive customization through modules, themes, and APIs, making it suitable for a range of applications, from simple blogs to large enterprise solutions. 

memoQ Plugin for Drupal 

The memoQ plugin for Drupal allows Drupal users to select content for translation, send the content to memoQ for translation, and receive it back automatically when the translation process is complete. With the right automation settings in the memoQ Dashboard and the memoQ project, users can save significant time by eliminating manual steps outside Drupal. Furthermore, to take automation to an even greater level, you can also achieve a fully automated roundtrip with machine translation. 

How does it work? 

In Drupal, the user selects content for translation, chooses the required source and target languages, and sends the request to memoQ TMS. In the memoQ CMS Dashboard, the incoming translation orders with translation jobs (documents) can be imported into a memoQ template-based project. This import can be manual or automatic, based on workflow automation configured in the Dashboard. As soon as the translation is complete, the documents can be delivered to the CMS manually or automatically based on status. Drupal is notified and then pulls the translations automatically into Drupal. If the content in Drupal has changed, a new translation request needs to be sent to memoQ.

Important Information 

The connector requires memoQ TMS and access to the memoQ CMS API. It supports Drupal 9 and 10.
