Signed private MT plugins
Machine Translation (MT) or Automated Translation technology allows you to automatically translate text from one language to another. The quality of machine translation depends much on the training.
memoQ is connected to the main MT engines through plugins.
In addition to machine translation plugins which are publicly available within memoQ, there are also private plugins that memoQ supports and can be used with the software.
This means that the plugin itself is not part of the software; however, it can still be loaded into and used in memoQ. To install a plugin, copy it into memoQ’s Addins folder on your computer. This allows memoQ to recognize the plugin and will not display a warning when starting up.

globalese by memoQ
globalese by memoQ is not your traditional machine translation plugin as it is not an MT engine but a platform for building engines. Until memoQ 9.10, globalese by memoQ had been supported by memoQ as a private plugin, but from 9.12 on, it is available as a public plugin (i.e., as part of the installation of memoQ).
