What is NiuTrans?
Established in China in 2012, NiuTrans.com is a cloud service for basic machine translation. With Chinese at its center, NiuTrans supports 304 languages. It is the largest Chinese-centered machine translation service.
How does it work with memoQ?
One segment at a time, memoQ sends a text to NiuTrans. The output is then displayed as the translation result and the translator can choose whether or not to use it.
How to use this service in memoQ?
All you need to do to set it up is to create a profile on the NiuTrans website where you will receive an API key. Once you start working on your localization project, go to MT settings in memoQ and enter the service URL, your API key, the source and target languages, and the profile name. NiuTrans is then ready to use!
