What you’ll do as an HR Generalist
As an HR Generalist at memoQ, you will
- Experience a role that is far from one-dimensional. You’ll play an active role in our HR evolution and be part of all projects we do in order to best support our business strategy and help our people feel that they are working for the best company.
- Ensure that all employee administration is in place, and payroll preparation and check-up is done error free every month.
- Drive our recruitment activities in the IT related departments of the organization.
- Act as a business partner for your departments, helping colleagues and managers to navigate across the different stages of employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefit, engagement…)
- Contribute to define our long-term HR strategy that will bring our organization and talents to the next level
- Take an active role in our projects around the following topics: updating job structure, refine our Comp & Ben system, design and implement value-adding employee surveys,organize company events.
What we think will help you succeed in this role
We believe you can be successful in this role if you recognize yourself in the description below.
- You have minimum 3 years’ experience in HR preferably in big and/or mid-sized organizations
- You have a solid knowledge of Hungarian Labor Code and have dealt with Employee administration and Payroll-related tasks in the past (advantage if you have worked with working time frame) and besides you gained some experience at least in one of these areas: Recruitment, Performance management, Learning and Development, Compensation and Benefit.
- You're a quick thinker, able to solve complex problems with ease
- You are a great communicator, easily build trustful relationships and have a customer/employee centric attitude
- You're conscientious and organized, delivering what you promise, meeting deadlines, and working to completion despite any distractions
- You're happy to dive deep into the details and get your hands dirty when needed
- You're not rattled by change and ambiguity, but actively seek to try new approaches and change course flexibly when it makes sense
- You seek input for decisions broadly both within and outside the organization, communicating with ease and transparency with different stakeholders
- You're familiar with or are willing to learn about IT companies and their challenges
- You proactively keep learning about ways of improving yourself as an HR professional and monitor the newest HR trends and methodologies
- You speak and write in English and Hungarian fluently
- You live near or are willing to relocate to Budapest so you can spend some days in our head office every week (with flexible home office opportunities)
